King’s Delight’s missions efforts are based on fulfilling the Great Commission of Christ, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20). The mandate of missions also includes ministry to the totality of human need, “feed the hungry…clothe the naked…visit the sick and imprisoned.” (Matthew 25:31-46).

The geographic scope of our mission is, “Raleigh Triangle Areas, North Carolina Other States in the Union to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8), a viewpoint that is also part of the mission’s mandate, as is much prayer; i.e. “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” (Matthew 9:37-38).

Because so many of the world’s population have yet to hear the Good News of the Bible, therefore, every activities of the ministry, and member activities outside of the ministry would be geared towards people coming to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. There is only one path to Heaven for everyone alive at any time. As is written in John 14:6, God (Jesus) said, “I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no man cometh unto the father, but by me.” Our emphasis is on seeing as much of the world come to a saving knowledge of the ONLY SAVIOR of the world, and future financial commitments will of necessity reflect that priority. “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached to all people groups for a witness to all people, and then the end shall come.” (Matthew 24:14).
